Klaep is a social music collaboration network for music enthusiasts that enables ambitious hobbyists and professionals to jam in-app together via split-screen videos. Users can find and select a video from the JamFeed, play their part to the selected video using a metronome and count-in, adjust volume and use visual and auditive filters to spice it up, and upload the new collab on their feed as a split-screen video including text. Klaep's manifesto is to bridge social media and music in a new and collaborative way where all focus remains on the creative creators, to give them full rights of their collaborations (equal royalties) and to connect with their audience in the best possible way, to stand up for the fair treatment of creative works, and to comply with European data protection and categorically not sell data to third-party providers.
